Has anyone tried Project Wonderful yet? It's a new ad service from Ryan North (Dinosaur Comics). Instead of paying per click, people bid for your ad box by the day, and whoever bids highest gets the spot. Lots of boxes are going for $0.00 a day right now, so it's basically free advertising.

I put a box on my site yesterday and someone's already bidding 3 cents. Riches!

Signed up. The interface is very clean. No pop-ups, no punch-the-monkey ads, which is why I never did Google ads.

I bid $0.05/day on a couple of bigger comics. Got more new readers in a week than from a year of link swaps.
