Debut is starting to feel limiting. EX 3.0 is pricey though. Anyone using EX who can say if it's worth it?
I use EX. Things you get that Debut doesn't:
- All the screentones, not just a handful
- Perspective and parallel rulers (a lifesaver for backgrounds)
- Multiple pages / story files
- Better export options
If you do a lot of buildings or tone, it's worth it. If you mostly do characters, Debut is fine.
The perspective rulers... I'm sold. My backgrounds are tragic.
Check if there's a student discount. e frontier had one last year.
