Honest answers. How many pages/strips are you ahead? I am currently -1. I owe my readers a page from last week.
Two strips. It was 20 at the start of last year.
Six pages. I won't launch a new chapter until I have the whole thing pencilled.
About three weeks. The watercolours take forever so I have to stay ahead.
I live in fear and update the night it goes up. Please don't tell my readers.
As a reader: I would rather have a late page than a filler page. Just post a sketch and say it'll be late.
