Saturn is at opposition today, rising at sunset and up all night in Gemini. It is about as bright as it gets, magnitude -0.4, and the rings are tilted wide open. Any telescope will show the rings and Titan. Tomorrow the Huygens probe lands on Titan. It would be nice to look at Titan tonight and know there is a spacecraft on the way down to it. |
