Retrocomputing Wiki:About

From Retrocomputing Wiki

The Retrocomputing Wiki is a collaborative encyclopedia about vintage computers: the kit machines, home computers and early personal computers of the 1970s and 1980s, and the people, chips and software behind them.

It was started in March 2007 by a few regulars of a Commodore collectors' forum who wanted somewhere to write things down properly. Anyone can edit, and you don't need an account, although having one makes it easier to keep track of your edits.

The wiki runs on MediaWiki, the software behind Wikipedia. Text is available under the GNU Free Documentation License.
