Long time Keenspot reader. Has anyone here ever applied to Keenspot? What does it take?
I applied in 2005 and never heard back. As far as I can tell, you need a big audience before they notice you, and by then you don't really need them.
The only Keenspot comics I still read every day are the old ones. Most of my favourites now are independent.
The landscape's changed a lot. Ten years ago being on a collective was the only way to be seen. Now you've got Project Wonderful and LiveJournal and DeviantArt and people just find you.
That makes sense. Guess I'll just make the thing first.
