Keenspot submissions - anyone ever got in?

Long time Keenspot reader. Has anyone here ever applied to Keenspot? What does it take?

I applied in 2005 and never heard back. As far as I can tell, you need a big audience before they notice you, and by then you don't really need them.

Cubicle Fauna -- the office is a jungle. Daily strip since 2004.

The only Keenspot comics I still read every day are the old ones. Most of my favourites now are independent.

I don't draw, I just read everything.

The landscape's changed a lot. Ten years ago being on a collective was the only way to be seen. Now you've got Project Wonderful and LiveJournal and DeviantArt and people just find you.

Been making comics since you needed a photocopier and a stapler.

That makes sense. Guess I'll just make the thing first.

Best advice there is. Make the thing first.

Lanternfish - a fantasy comic about a lighthouse at the bottom of the sea. Updates M/W/F.
