$199 isn't terrible. Still running CS on a Windows 2000 box over here, so maybe it's time.

Hotel Circle is fine. The trolley is easy and the hotels are cheaper. Bring comfortable shoes, the convention center is enormous.

I applied in 2005 and never heard back. As far as I can tell, you need a big audience before they notice you, and by then you don't really need them.

Signed up. The interface is very clean. No pop-ups, no punch-the-monkey ads, which is why I never did Google ads.

Seconding that. Ripped sprites will hold you back, a lot of readers skip sprite comics on sight. If you can edit sprites, you can make your own.

Nobody here uses Comic Sans, Harriet. I use one of the free Blambot fonts and it's saved me hours every week.
