Question  Scanner for 11x17 originals?

I draw on 11x17 Strathmore 500 bristol and my scanner is letter size. Anyone have a tabloid size scanner they'd recommend that doesn't cost $1000?

Scan in two halves and stitch them in Photoshop with the layer on Difference to line it up. It's what everyone does.

Been making comics since you needed a photocopier and a stapler.

My old Epson died doing exactly that, 200 pages of two-half scans. RIP.

Photomerge in CS2 can stitch them automatically, if your halves overlap by an inch or so.

Or draw on 10x15 and save yourself the trouble. That's what I switched to.
