Load the brush, then wipe most of it off on the side of the jar. Rest your hand on a scrap of paper, pull the line towards you, don't push. And practice on cheap paper, a whole page of just lines and ...

I draw on 11x17 Strathmore 500 bristol and my scanner is letter size. Anyone have a tabloid size scanner they'd recommend that doesn't cost $1000?

Your blacks are really confident for screentone work. Page 6 is a little crowded, five panels plus all that dialogue. Maybe split it?

Let's settle this. What do you ink with? Me: Winsor & Newton Series 7 #2 brush for figures, Hunt 102 for details, Microns for panel borders. Higher Ground or Speedball Super Black ink.
