 | GNOME 2.6 Slated for Late March |
gnomeuser2k writes "The GNOME release team says GNOME 2.6 is on track for the end of March. The headline changes are the new GTK+ 2.4 file chooser, which finally replaces the old file selection dialog, and a spatial Nautilus, which opens every folder in its own window and remembers where you left it.
The spatial mode has started a predictable amount of argument on the mailing lists. You can switch Nautilus back to browser mode with a gconf key, and the Epiphany web browser becomes the default browser in this release."
