iPhone 3G -- three months in

Postby Vectrex_Kid on Sat Oct 11, 2008 8:15 pm

Bought it on launch day in July (waited 4 hours outside the AT&T store). Three months later:

Good: the App Store, maps, real web browsing.
Bad: battery life with 3G on is a joke, and no copy and paste in 2008 is embarrassing.

The 2.1 update in September helped the dropped calls a lot.
Collection: 41 consoles, 2 working Vectrexes, 0 shelf space

I want one so badly but $199 + $70 a month for two years is a lot on a teacher's salary.
Wii friend code on request :)

Still on my RAZR. It makes calls. That's the whole list of features.
I test games for a living. No, it is not as fun as it sounds.

The Super Monkey Ball game on it is surprisingly good. Tilt controls actually work.

Optus wants AU$1,500 over two years for the 16GB one. I'll keep my Nokia, thanks.
AU$99.95 for a new 360 game. Ninety-nine dollars. Ninety-five cents.
