Sony has recalled LittleBigPlanet days before launch. One of the licensed music tracks apparently has lines from the Qur'an in it, and they're pressing new discs without it. No new date yet.

Some shops in Europe already had copies on shelves.

That's a weird one. At least it's a fixable problem. Weeks rather than months?

My GameStop called me about my preorder. They don't know anything either. I guess I'm playing Fable instead.

Remastering a disc and reprinting the whole run is not cheap. Somebody at Sony had a long night.

Wouldn't they just patch the song out? The game needs an online connection for half the features anyway.

Not every PS3 is online, so they can't ship the disc with it and hope. Plus retail would never take it.
