Reviving a P2-350 with 128 MB for my sister. GNOME and KDE are out. What would you put on it?

fluxbox. Right-click menu, tabs, done. Uses maybe 5 MB.

Debian sarge / 2.6.12 / fluxbox

IceWM if she's coming from Windows. Taskbar and a start button, nobody has to learn anything.

Seconding IceWM for a non-technical user. And give her Opera or Firefox 1.0.7 on that box, 1.5 will be painful in 128 MB.
