Rails 1.0 - worth a look?

Rails hit 1.0 this week. I've been doing PHP at work for three years and every screencast makes me want to try it. Anyone here built something real with it, or is it all blog-in-15-minutes videos?

Re: Rails 1.0 - worth a look?

Built an internal ticket tracker on 0.13 over the summer. Very productive for CRUD stuff; deployment is the painful part. FastCGI under Apache fell over a few times a week until we moved it to lighttpd.

Learning Ruby is the bigger investment than learning Rails. Do a few weeks of plain Ruby first or the magic won't make sense.
