[edit] Sales figures
You see figures as high as 30 million quoted on the web, which I'm fairly sure is way too high, so I've written the Sales section to say the real number is unknown. The 17 million figure seems to come from Commodore's own marketing and gets repeated everywhere, including the Guinness book. People who have gone through serial numbers and production reports come out lower, somewhere around 12.5 million. I don't think we should pick one number as fact. --Tramiel Historian 22:13, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
- Agreed. "Best-selling single model" is probably still true either way, nothing else from that era comes close except maybe the Spectrum family if you count all the clones. --SpriteWrangler64 09:40, 22 July 2007 (UTC)
- Only if you count the Russian clones, and nobody has any figures for those. Leave it as it is. --Zilog Zed 18:02, 22 July 2007 (UTC)
- Fine by me. If anyone finds a proper source (Commodore annual reports?) please add it here first. --Datasette Dave 19:12, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Pictures
Can we get some photos for the article? I have a breadbin 64 and a 64C and could take pictures of both, but uploads are switched off on this wiki. --SpriteWrangler64 21:55, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
- Uploads are off for now because of the spam we had on the old forum. I'll turn them on once we have a few more admins. --Datasette Dave 07:31, 4 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Games System
Is the C64GS worth its own article? It's a pretty obscure machine. --68.42.117.203 15:20, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
