 | XFree86 4.4.0 Ships Under New License |
kernel_tinkerer writes "XFree86 4.4.0 is out, and the release notes are getting less attention than the license. The project has moved to the XFree86 License 1.1, which adds a credit clause that the FSF says is incompatible with the GPL. Debian, Red Hat, Mandrake and Gentoo have all said they will not ship 4.4.0 under these terms."
